Product Description

Ackee and Saltfish is the National Dish of Jamaica, by purchasing the Grace Ackee in salt water you are to be able the prepare this delicacy from anywhere in the world.

Ackee and Salfish Direction:- Soak Salfish (codfish) in cold water for a hour.

                                       Pour off water and add fresh water to ackee and cook until tender

                                        De-bone and flake saltfish

                                        Heat oil and Saute Onion, Garlic, Sweet Pepper, Tomato and Scotch Bonnet Pepper

                                        Add Saltfish and Grace Ackees and Black Peppers

                                        Toss Lightly then cover and allow to stand over low heat for two(2) minutes

                                         Can be serve with ground provision, use in a wrap and serve with jhonny dumplings see website for Johnny Dumplings mixture.
